Plans and Information

You enter the barn through the enormous double glazed French windows and are immediately in the wonderfully light and airy open-plan lounge, dining room, kitchen. The lounge and dining area measure 28 square metres - the kitchen area is 9.5 square metres. There are two sets of French windows leading on to the walled courtyard, one from the lounge area and one from the kitchen area.

The walls are mainly the original stone - only the side wall is a flat wall. Two of the original cow stalls have been set between small brickettes and a mixture of plaster and straw to create a superb backdrop to the dining area. Lights have been installed in the cow stalls. This area is plenty big enough to take a table which would seat 10 persons

The floor is tiled throughout with an attractive pattern in the middle. Lighting is a mixture of a central light over the lounge, wall lights, and spot lights in the kitchen area. There are three radiators. The wiring is in place for the television both to the satellite and an aerial.

The kitchen boasts plenty of cupboard space and work surface. There is one tall cupboard with five shelves, one cupboard with three drawers, and four one-metre base cupbards. There is an 80cm wide gas cooker with 5 rings. The dishwasher is housed to the side of the sink. There are plenty of plugs above the work surface.

Off the kitchen is a utility room which houses the oil-fired central heating boiler. This also heats the water and there is a cumulus in the boiler which stores hot water.

There is one bedroom on the ground floor which is detailed with the first floor details.

There is a small cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
